My name is Dona I?m a new nursing student in nursing college. I joined the Graduate nursing course .I?m doing my master degree in the oncology .I have a lot of things to do and many quizzes as well .So I need help please in this homework .
I?m taking theory class online and we are working as a group for this assignment .
is to read the below chapters in Rice, and identify 2 models that could be used in practice.
1. Write a 2 page summary describing a clinical situation with which you are familiar (the situation may be hypothetical).
2. Interpret and relate the selected situation to the 2 theories presented.
3. Write a summary with your personal reaction to using this model in practice.
4. Discuss your individual group?s discussion board, then post on the class discussion board for Elluminate presentation.
Group 1: Rice: Chapters 2, 3, 4.
Response Oriented Theories, Relationship to Health Outcomes and Physiological Measures. Rice: Chapters 5,6,7.
Stimulus Oriented Theories, Life Stressors and Health, Micro-stressors and Health and Stress, and Psychosomatic Illness and Health.
So our will be working on the GAS and Hasels and Uplifts model and the GAS model for our presentation. The presentation will be the next assignment .which is coming after this assignment.
